BlackSheepSound :: We Speak Hip Hop

Primul volum rezultat din parteneriatul Urban Groove / Turntablism.ro este lansat în aceasta dimineaţă . I-Gura este primul care mixează pentru noi şi fanii de turntablism. Câteva cuvinte despre el, în limba engleză, trimise chiar de protagonist:

“I-gura K. Kuru. Turntablist, Producer from Utrecht, The Netherlands. Started off in 2006 by joining a jazz / lounge experimental trio (A New Acquisition). Performs scratches and live sampling and gets acquainted with the basics of studio work. Starts building his own home recording studio and after the ‘A New Acquisition era’ concludes, begins to work on his own project and on several collaborations on the side. Three years later, his studio is up and running, his album is out and collaborations started flowing one from another. His influences range from old school hip hop, to 60’s and 70’s jazz and hard core metal from the mid and late 90’s. Gets a kick out of coffee, out of sampling grandma’s old and dusty records and out of skinning his friends blind at Texas Hold’em.
Disgusted by crowded places, soft boiled eggs and hot milk. Currently finishing his PhD degree and plotting musical mayhem alongside Batranu Records”
